Zoran Predin — novel launch "Mongolske mrlje"

Papagaj Restaurant & Lounge, Đenovići. Book launch. A year after his literary-musical evening with Boris Dežulović, Zoran Predin returned to Papagaj to present his first novel, "Mongolske mrlje" ("Mongolian Spots"). Writer, poet and literary critic Balša Brković spoke about the book. The novel weaves together two distant historical periods: the story of an Ottoman warrior after the failed siege of Vienna, and the life of a young nationalist just after Slovenia's declaration of independence. Through their stories Predin explores origin, identity, ideology, violence, family, and the individual trying to resist collective divisions. Zoran Predin presented his first novel "Mongolske mrlje" at Papagaj — a story about origin, identity, love and history that repeats itself.
